Thank you for choosing our stainless steel mate cup! Crafted from food-grade stainless steel, this durable, heat-insulated, and easy-to-clean cup is designed to enhance your traditional mate tea experience. Please read the instructions below carefully for optimal use.

‌Product Structure

‌Main Cup Body‌: Double-walled stainless steel for heat insulation.

‌Filter Straw (Bombilla)‌: stainless steel straw with a filter to block tea leaves.and it has flat shape and spoon shape for your option

Straw Brush: stainless steel handle together with nylon brush head, help to clean the inner of the straws

‌Lid‌ (optional): dust-proof lid for portability .with a hole for the straw put in.

‌Usage Guide‌

‌Before First Use

‌Cleaning‌: Wash the cup and bombilla with warm water and mild detergent to remove manufacturing residues. The brush can help you to clean the straw easily.

‌Sanitization‌ (optional): Soak the cup and bombilla in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, then air-dry thoroughly.

‌Brewing Mate Tea

‌Fill the Cup

Add mate tea leaves to fill about 2/3 of the cup. Tilt the cup slightly and gently shake it to settle finer leaves at the bottom, leaving larger leaves on top (reduces clogging).

‌Insert the Bombilla

Place the bombilla at an angle into the cup, ensuring the filtered end touches the bottom and rests against the inner wall to avoid stirring the leaves.

‌Brewing

‌First Pour‌: Slowly pour 70-80°C (158-176°F) water near the bombilla until the cup is 90% full. Let it sit for 2 minutes to allow the leaves to expand.

‌Refill‌: After each sip, refill with hot water. Repeat until the flavor diminishes.

‌Tips for Enjoyment

Traditionally shared among friends, the cup is passed around to symbolize camaraderie.

Customize your drink with honey, lemon, or mint for added flavor.

‌Cleaning & Maintenance

‌Daily Cleaning

Empty tea leaves promptly after use. Rinse the cup and bombilla with water.

Clean the bombilla with a straw brush to remove residue from the filter holes.

‌Deep Cleaning

Weekly: Use a soft cloth with baking soda or lemon juice to scrub away tea stains.

‌Important Notes

Avoid abrasive scrubbers (e.g., steel wool) or harsh chemicals to prevent scratches.

Dry the bombilla thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots.

‌Safety Precautions

Do not use water above 90°C (194°F) to avoid burns or compromising tea flavor.

Check the bombilla’s temperature before drinking; use an insulated sleeve if needed.

Avoid storing carbonated or alcoholic beverages to prevent corrosion.

Supervise children during use.

‌Care Reminder

Over time, natural oxidation may cause surface discoloration. Use a white vinegar solution to wipe the surface and restore shine. For long-term storage, ensure the cup is completely dry and kept in a ventilated area.
