Once you’ve ordered a stainless steel water bottle from China, the question isn’t how you can use it?  It is, how do you take care of it?

Stainless steel food storage boxes and tumblers can easily last from several years to up to several decades. However, to make them last this long, you need to take good care of them.

Steps to take care of a stainless steel water bottle

So, let’s assume you’ve stored your favorite beverage in your stainless steel water bottle China, and you have now finished the beverage. To clean your bottle, follow the simple steps given below:

  • Separation: First, open the bottle and separate the cap from the tumbler. The cap usually includes a thin layer of plastic that acts as insulation in the gap. Therefore, it cannot be cleaned in the same way the bottle does.

  • Rinsing: Rinse both the bottle and the cap with water and soap. For this purpose, any simple kitchen soap can also be used. Avoid letting the stainless steel water bottle stand in soapy water. While there won’t be any chemical side effects, your next beverage may end up having a soapy tinge.

Cleaning the Personalized Insulated Water Bottle

  • Cleaning: Rinse the soap out with water until there are no bubbles. Add a small quantity of warm water into the bottle and swirl the water several times. This step is done to remove any particles that have stuck to the sides. You can repeat this process multiple times until the bottle is clean.

  • Removing Stains: If the particles persist, you can use a 1:1 mixture of vinegar and room temperature water to remove the particles. The vinegar is also efficient in removing any smell from the bottle. However, remember to rinse the bottle after using vinegar.

  • Removing Old Food: Baking soda is another common ingredient that can be used to clean the bottle. However, remember to use this only if your bottle has mold or bacteria growing due to old food. Baking soda can effectively sanitize your bottle and make it ready for the next use.

  • Sanitizing: If you wish to sanitize your bottle, you can pour a diluted quantity of hydrogen peroxide. It is recommended that you keep the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water at 35:65. And let the bottle dry out completely before storing anything.

Cleaning the Cap

  • Resting: Let the bottle cap rest in warm water for several minutes. If the bottle cap separates into multiple parts without breaking, keep them in separate bowls.

  • Wiping Down: Use a warm kitchen towel or tissues to clean out the small nooks and crannies of the bottle.

  • Boiling: If your personalized insulated water bottle needs to be sanitized, you can boil the cup in water for 5-10 minutes.

By following these steps, you can maintain your stainless steel bottle for several years. However, the quality of stainless steel used by the manufacturer also matters. Therefore, it is recommended only to use the best. Check out our products now!
